Hospitalist
Our hospitalist is a medical doctor who delivers care to patients admitted to the hospital or transitional care, specializing in family or internal medicine. Their role involves:
- Overseeing and arranging patient treatment
- Working alongside nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, order tests, adjust medications
- Act as the main contact for answering questions from you and your family
Your condition updates will be communicated to your primary care provider. A hospitalist's main emphasis is on inpatient care, enabling primary care physicians to focus on outpatient and preventive care.
