Focus for 2021

As the Lincoln Hospital Foundation moves into a new decade, there is a renewed commitment and emphasis to help provide the best equipment and services possible for Lincoln Hospital and the clinics in Davenport, Reardan and Wilbur. The Foundation’s Endowment Fund has been, and continues to be, a vital part of this commitment as we build for the future. Most recently the Foundation has been able to fund remodeling in the Transitional Care Unit and an entire new lab at the hospital. Equipment and services for healthcare are becoming increasingly more expensive. In order to meet those needs, the Foundation’s Endowment Fund has become a critical source of funding for immediate and long-term projects. Our goal is to provide at least $200,000 or more in annual investment income as we team with Lincoln Hospital to meet current and long-term needs.

The Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund continues to be an important avenue to generate income for ongoing capital projects at Lincoln Hospital like the lab remodel and TCU upgrades done the previous year. The fund is currently valued at over $2 million thanks to your generous contributions.

75% of the interest from the Endowment Fund is set aside for capital projects at Lincoln Hospital and Clinics. There are many ways to give to the Endowment Fund including gifts of cash, life insurance, real estate, securities and bequests in your will. Please help us continue to grow this fund to help meet the future needs of our beloved hospital district.
