The Lincoln Hospital Dietary Department serves three populations — our acute care patients, Long Term Care residents, and the public/employees.

Acute Care

Patients in the acute wing of Lincoln Hospital receive select menus depending on dietary needs. All menus are physician approved and are individualized to the recovery needs of our patients.

Our Registered Dietician, Irene Rapp also performs outpatient dietary consults for those leaving our care, as well as folks under a doctor’s orders who are wishing to take control of their health through better eating habits.

Long Term Care

The professional dietary team at Lincoln Hospital provides our Long Term Care residents with daily food choices from both hot and cold food tables. Meals are nutritionally balanced and recipes are approved by our dietician. Between meal nourishments, snacks, and beverages are served from a snack cart throughout the day.

All meals are nutritionally balanced and appealing to the eye and palate. All residents of Lincoln Long Term Care have an active say in selecting menu favorites and choose special dinners for holidays and other events.

On the latest state survey of our Long Term Care residents, all residents said they enjoy the food at Lincoln Long Term Care — no complaints!

The Lunch Box

The Lunch Box is a great place to eat for staff and visitors alike!

Open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, The Lunch Box features a daily special, soup of the day and always has fresh, made-to-order deli sandwiches and salads. Check us out the next time you’re in the area or call for a weekly menu to be sent to you or your place of business.
