Most Common Complaints of the Female Organs
Abnormal bleeding (between periods, heavy periods with cramping, clotting etc.)
Most pelvic surgery can be performed on an outpatient basis using a Laparoscope. Laparoscopic surgery is minimally invasive. A tiny telescope is placed through a small hole under the belly button. Carbon dioxide is pumped into the belly cavity creating a space whereby the organs can be visualized with a tiny camera. Dr. Huntwork, using a TV screen, guides the instruments through two other small holes and the procedure is performed with little cutting.
Advantages of Laparoscopy include...
Major surgery without a large incision
Less pain after surgery
Shorter hospital stay
Return to work sooner
Return to regular activity sooner
