Since 1989, Foundation volunteers have shared the commitment to high quality local healthcare with generous donors from across Lincoln County. We’re still committed — diligent and excited about our progress.
2009 Goal
$7,500 toward the purchase of a cutting-edge EKG machine for the ER.
Because of our Level One Cardiac Partnership, more people are coming to Lincoln Hospital FIRST with chest pain. EKG capabilities need to be expanded to meet the need. This new EKG technology is important because of its large hard drive. It can store up to 200 EKGs in memory and can be downloaded to a CD for easy storage. EKG results can also be electronically sent to our doctors and other specialists right away. No more printing, faxing and waiting. Results will be available almost immediately.
Your donation toward the state-of-the-art EKG machine or to the Endowment Fund is a gift of health to future generations. Your tax deductible contribution truly does make a difference. A pledge card can be downloaded off this site.Just click here...
2008 Promises Fulfilled
The Bactec 9050 Bacteria Incubator will speed up the blood testing process so that patients with life-threatening infections such as e-coli and MRSA can get faster results. Faster results mean faster treatment. Not only will the testing timeline be sped up by this machine, it will cut down on possible human errors and lab staff will have more time for other procedures.
The NuStep Recumbent Cross Trainer is a great piece of rehabilitation equipment. It is the most popular cross trainer in both healthcare and fitness facilities.
