Because of our Level One Cardiac Partnership, more people are coming to Lincoln Hospital FIRST with chest pain. EKG capabilities need to be expanded to meet the need. This new EKG technology is important because of its large hard drive. It can store up to 200 EKGs in memory and can be downloaded to a CD for easy storage. EKG results can also be electronically sent to our doctors and other specialists right away. No more printing, faxing and waiting. Results will be available almost immediately.

2008 Promises Fulfilled

The Bactec 9050 Bacteria Incubator will speed up the blood testing process so that patients with life-threatening infections such as e-coli and MRSA can get faster results.
